[Movies] Risk To Be Turned Into Movie

Classic board game getting movie treatment...
Sony is set to turn the board game Risk into a feature film. No other details are really known right now.
"[Audiences have] shown a great desire for films that bring to life everything that has made these franchise properties stand the test of time. The strategic thinking and the tactical gambles that players must take in the game are what make Risk a classic, thoroughly engaging game. Those elements translated into an action-packed, thrilling story are what will make this a uniquely exciting movie."
And 36 year olds living in their parents basement put down their comic books and rejoice.

REALLY? Are there no more original ideas left for film? Has literally EVERYTHING been done now?
I mean what would it even be about? Couldn't you just do a WWII movie? Isn't that pretty much like Risk? I don't even....

If this is a success it better be followed up by Stratego: The Movie, The Game of Life, and Mouse Trap.

I could be wrong, but I think Risk is more WWI.

Freeze Tag - The Movie
James Cameron presents Chutes and Ladders
Steven King's Monopoly
Quentin Tarantino: Hide and Seek
the film would start in the middle of the seeking and flash back and forth between the hiding and the aftermath.

This movie should just be Kramer and Newman playing Risk for 2 1/2 hours.
